Nadan Beef Fry / Kerala Beef Fry
Ingredients:
- Beef (cut into cubes) - 1/2 Kg
- Ginger Garlic (finely chopped) -2 tsp
- Onion (sliced) - 1 cup
- Chili powder - 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder -1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder – 1tbsp
- Meat masala – 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves-3 to 4 sprigs
- Garam masala -1/2 tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Coconut oil-as required
Method:
- In a mixing bowl, combine together beef, Meat masala , ginger ,garlic, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, Pepper powder and salt to taste. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Cook the marinated beef until tender (do not add water)
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and curry leaves, saute until it turns golden brown. Now add the cooked beef , garam masala. Mix well until combined.( Add more salt if required)
- Saute on a medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes, until it turns dark and dry, stirring well in between.
